Description

A moving town hall to turn outrage into action. We are bringing lawmakers to you. Last year 4,282 of us pedaled together. This year we’re putting Colorado’s decision-makers on the bus—literally—to see exactly where cyclists, pedestrians, and other vulnerable road users have been killed. At every stop, we’ll honor lives lost, hear the stories behind the statistics, and share the impact on our communities. Join us to tell your story, advocate for what you want changed, and push our legislators toward stronger protections in the 2026 session. What I understand will be happening at this event: People with a story to tell will be given a couple minutes to introduce ourselves before informal time for interacting. We'll be wearing yellow vests and 'decision makers' will be in blue. Hopefully this will help lead to more productive conversations. No word on who the Aurora decision makers are so far. If you are interested coming from Denver, you can access the municipal center from the High Line Trail from the east or the Sand Creek > Tollgate Creek trail from the north. Nearest R line stop is an easy walk.
