Bike and Brew Olympics

🏅 PASS THE TORCH. The inaugural Bike + Brew’Olympics is officially calling all athletes to Cheesman Park. 🏅 📅 OPENING CEREMONY: Sunday, April 26 @ 1:00 PM 📍 HOST CITY: Cheesman Park Picnic Area 🚲 Format: Teams of 2 or 4. (Solo athletes: we’ll pair you up at the starting line!) THE GAMES: Expect a friendly series of bike-centric events fueled by carbonated gold. Featured event - The 4-Person Relay. You can’t pedal until the beer is empty. REQUIRED GEAR: Fuel BYOB - At least one 12-pack of beer/seltzer per team of 2 (MUST be 12oz cans). Safety - Water, sunscreen, human-powered bike (no E-bikes) & helmet. Comfort - Picnic blankets and snacks for spectating and breaks. Rain Date: June 14 Safety First: Gold medalists know their limits. Prioritize safety over speed. Don’t be the person the committee has to disqualify for being a nuisance. Victory Ceremony: Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals (and maybe additional prizes!) will be given out at the end of the games. No sign-up necessary, just show up on time to compete. LET THE GAMES BEGIN.
