On Saturday, May 16hth, the Mayor's Bicycle Advisory Committee (MBAC) is hosting a community bike ride through Denver's District 7. And YOU are invited.
We will meet at a local bakery Rebel Bread at 8:45am. Easy to reach! ... whether you're riding your bike; hopping on a bus or train; or driving with your bike in tow. We will roll out at 9:15 am.
The route winds through Lucky District 7 - exploring the different ways people actually get around District 7 by bike.
This ride is a chance for neighbors to share their stories directly with MBAC members: what's working, what's missing, and what would make biking in your neighborhood better. MBAC wants to boost your voice and potentially influence future bicycle infrastructure decisions and policies. The main goal is to have fun and celebrate this corner of Denver.
This is a free, volunteer-run community ride - NOT a city-run event. Bring your own bike, helmet, and a lock if you plan to step away from your bike. E-bikes welcome.
